EQUIPMENT: Arrow of Light ceremonial board, table, awards to be presented

SETTING: Cubmaster is in front of room with the ceremonial prop on table.

CUBMASTER: Tonight our pack recognizes (names) who not only bring honor to themselves but to our pack as they have worked hard to earn the highest rank in Cub Scouting, the Arrow of Light award. This badge is the only badge that a boy can wear from Cub Scouting to Scouts and can be worn proudly with the Eagle award. Will

Webelos leader (name) please come forward and join me in conducting this ceremony for these boys. Will the parents of these Webelos Scouts please come forward and join their sons. (Webelos leader lights a candle after each statement.)

CUBMASTER: Webelos Scouts, the Spirit of Scouting candle is lit with pride tonight because you have earned the Arrow of Light.

The second candle we light by (name of council) rights. They sanction your award with such delight.

The third candle represents the pack. To congratulate you for staying on the straight and narrow track.

The fourth we light for your Scouting skills as you accept the challenge and conquer the hill.

The fifth we light for your Webelos den. They are proud to call you brother and friend.

The sixth we light for your parents tonight, to show their heartfelt pride that burns so bright.

The seventh we light just for you. To say congratulations Scout brother true, we're so very, very, proud of you.
